The most frequently asked questions of our patients

Whether you have questions about our services, the appointment process, or the details of post-operative recovery, you'll find useful information in this section.
No, computer-based diopter determination is not an accurate method. We suggest the method performed on the device called an autorefractor, which serves as a guide for us doctors in determining the direction of vision testing.

No, a single measurement of intraocular pressure does not necessarily mean the patient has glaucoma. A comprehensive examination, including a daily IOP curve and specific diagnostics, is required to make a diagnosis.

It is not recommended to wear random reading glasses from pharmacy shelves. It is important to undergo an ophthalmological examination and determine the correct diopter.

A comprehensive general ophthalmological examination includes visual acuity testing, diopter determination, intraocular pressure measurement, pupil dilation, and a biomicroscopic examination of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. If there is suspicion of a disease or disorder, additional tests are performed or the patient is referred to a subspecialist.

Candidates can be patients over 18 years old with a stable diopter that hasn’t changed in the last two years, and who meet certain standards determined through examination and diagnostics.

Swimming with contact lenses is strictly prohibited due to the risk of infection and the serious complications that may follow.
