Microneedling

Microneedling is a type of mesotherapy performed using a pen-like device with disposable micro-needles. These micro-needles create tiny punctures on the skin’s surface, which stimulates the skin’s natural renewal process.

The microneedling pen operates on the principle of vibrations, with micro-needles creating tiny openings in the skin that enhance the penetration of mesotherapy cocktails. Additionally, these micro-injuries stimulate the production of new collagen, contributing to a youthful appearance, improved elasticity and smoother skin.

Microneedling is used for skin rejuvenation, restoring elasticity, treating acne scars, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. It is particularly effective in combating acne scars.

The treatment includes double cleansing of the skin, enzymatic or chemical exfoliation, microneedling with a pen along with the application of a mesotherapy cocktail, followed by a bio-cellulose mask, toning, and the application of a moisturizing cream and sunscreen.

After the treatment, you should care for your skin with moisturizing creams and sunscreens (SPF 30 or higher). Avoid abrasive products, gyms, saunas, and direct sun exposure. Redness and swelling may occur but typically subside within 2 to 4 days.

Microneedling is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with skin conditions (such as psoriasis and eczema), those undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and people with open wounds or infections on the face.
